about

A comical, fictional story based on true experiences in the music industry.

lyrics

Jeremy likes Stephanie
He likes where she wants to be
and he likes that she hopes to be somewhere
He likes where she's going
But it's not where he's living
No other girl can compare

So Stephanie likes Jeremy
She likes him to be
at least six feet away
She likes where she's going
but it's not where he's living
She just doesn't like him that way
She just doesn't like him that way

But he doesn't mind
He says "I'm gonna change this
and one day she's see who I am
I know she's unkind
but she'll fall in love with me
One day she'll see who I am"

So Jeremy bought flowers
and wrote her a note
and he told her that she was the one
She got it and read it
and said it was nice
but it was over before it'd begun
It was over before it'd begun

But he doesn't mind
He says "I'm gonna change this
and one day she's see who I am
I know she's unkind
but she'll fall in love with me
One day she'll see who I am"

So Jeremy likes Stephanie
but she thought quite differently
or so she thought until one day
One day, she found out
he was in a rock and roll band...
now she can't stay away
now she can't stay away

But he doesn't mind
He says "I was gonna change this
and now she can see who I am
I know she was unkind
but she fell in love with me
Now she can see who I am"
